TITLE: Desktop Support Specialist
LOCATION: Clayton, NC
STATUS: Full-Time with Benefits
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7AM to 3:30PM
SALARY: $20/hr - $23/hr depending on experience

Essential Duties:
The Desktop Support Specialist will perform the following key functions:
Installing, physically moving, changing/upgrading, and disposing of computer hardware and software products
Maintaining factory operations and continued production
Scheduling patching and implementations
Deployment and configuration of new/replacement factory specific hardware and software
RCA input for factory affecting outages and general input to new troubleshooting criteria
Maintaining virus protection, OS service packs, general operations, and providing back-up and disaster recovery
Handling print queue issues
Performing hardware and software break fix on computer equipment within our customers site
Managing PC loaner program.
Managing the PC refresh for the office.
Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Installing, physically moving, changing/upgrading, and disposing of computer hardware and software products.
Outstanding people and communication skills to interact with other team members, customers, and management.
Competencies: Communications, Customer Focus, Safety.
Intermediate-level knowledge of network infrastructure
Ability to occasionally lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with assistance
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
A certification preferred
Certifications in DELL and HP preferred
Work Environment :
Fast-Paced, High activity environment
Office location: Clayton, NC
Lifting and/or Pulling up to 40lbs.; Sitting, Bending, Standing
