We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Systems Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for the creation, modification, route and install electrical aircraft systems, perform aircraft operational / functional testing, troubleshooting, repair of newly installed / modified electrical and avionics systems.

Position Description:
DZYNE Technologies is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the design, development, test and manufacturing of intelligent, autonomous vehicles. The candidate will work in a vehicle development and manufacturing environment for a rapidly growing family of unmanned aerial vehicle systems.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of UAV design and integration efforts
- Conceptualize system architecture for upgrades and enhancements to existing vehicle systems
- Layout system design plans and interfaces for new UAV products and platforms
- Draft and develop test plans for critical subsystems, and support vehicle level acceptance testing
- Develop interface controls for partners and customers to use for hardware, software, and electrical integration of complex and unique payloads
- Achieve maximum uptime by leading vehicle data analysis efforts to identify performance trends and develop predictive failure models
- Support build and benchtop testing of new vehicle systems
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with concepts of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software development, and control theory
- Hands-on build and prototyping of complex robotic or aircraft systems
- Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- A passion for systems development, integration, and testing
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience developing electromechanical system models to inform design, operation, and troubleshooting of complex subsystems
- Hands on manufacturing or flight-testing experience
- Experience in design engineering
- Understanding of aerodynamics, avionics and flight systems
Education/Experience:
- Requires a bachelors or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- At least 7 years of industry experience including but not limited to systems engineering

Salary: $100k - $185k
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
