About the job
· We are a cutting-edge diagnostics Startup in New Jersey (Northvale) that is at an inflection point. We are looking to appoint a newly created Controller role, reporting to the Group CFO, to play an important role in the next phase of our company and to further build out the finance function and capabilities as the organization continues to grow.
· We are looking for a Controller with a track record of developing and implementing finance processes across organizations, as well as delivering accurate and reliable information to senior leadership team, board of directors, investors, and external compliance bodies.
· Varying communication styles, simplifying the complex and stakeholder management are all key elements for this role. In addition, we seek new joiners that can become cultural champions – encompassing our values of ownership, exceptional quality, and collaborative work.
Responsibilities
· Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts for group companies
· -Responsibility for maintaining the fixed asset register
· -Monthly stock reconciliation and usage for R&D and, ultimately, customers
· -Preparation of raising supplier invoices
· -Responsibility for Balance Sheet reconciliations and upkeep of the general ledger
· -Assisting with preparation and analysis of monthly results and KPIs
· -Work with the Group CFO to drive improvements and efficiency
· -Supporting the preparation of the budgeting and forecasting
· -Assisting with the year-end audit process.
· -Experience dealing with Stakeholders
· -Purchasing/working with PO’s
· -Consolidation of accounting system across UK, US and Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $67,295.14 - $120,043.61 per year
