POSITION DESCRIPTION: Infant Toddler Teacher I/II/III
SALARY: I: $18.32- $22.15
II: $20.50- $24.81
III: $22.10- $27.25

LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 35 hours per week 12 Months

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Level I: Associate Teacher Permit (California Commission on Teacher Credentialing – 5-year permit) or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and one-year classroom experience – minimum 3 hours/day for 50days within 6-month period is equal to one-year experience). Must have a minimum of 24 Early Childhood Education units and 16 General Education Units and an additional 3 units of Early Childhood Education course work with a “C” grade or better relating to infants and/or toddlers.
Level II/III: Associate (Level II) or Bachelor (Level III) degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a related field AND 24 ECE units completed with a grade "C" or better. Minimum 3 Infant and Toddler units completed with a grade "C" or better. 1 year experience.
*Based on educational qualifications, the selected candidate will be hired with one of the following Job Codes: Job Code 1021 (I), 1026 (II).
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED:
Resume, Cover Letter, a minimum of three (3) Professional References, a minimum of two (2) Letters of Recommendation, Transcript(s) clearly identifying required coursework
**IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED. Must be current on Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza immunizations per Senate Bill 792 in the State of California. Current proof of shots must be provided before hire.
