Plant Manager – Kenai, Alaska
E&E Foods is a vertically integrated primary producer and supplier of wild Alaskan fin fish. We own and operate processing plants in Renton and Federal Way, Washington as well as shore-side processing plants in Yakutat, Bristol Bay and Kenai, Alaska.
E&E Foods is launching a search for a Plant Manager for our Kenai, Alaska operation. This individual will be a strategic and dynamic leader who is responsible for the day to day Operating Activities, including but not limited to Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance, Personnel Management, and Licensing and Permitting.
The successful candidate will:
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in in Business, Operations, Accounting or Administration, or a related field. Have broad knowledge in the seafood industry and advanced knowledge in a specialized field. Must have 5 years’ experience working at a Seafood Processing facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage production, support, and living facilities of all Pacific Star facilities
- Develop and implement long term strategy for Pacific Star Seafoods including a profitable program to access PWS fisheries
- Contribute and manage R&M and capital strategies and projects
- Strong commitment to recruit and retain fishers
- Manage pre and post season crew/laborers
- Assist in recruiting & retaining crew/laborers
- Develop talent and implement a succession plan for the Kenai processing facility
- Research and propose technologies and methods to increase production, increase recovery, reduce costs, ensure quality, and provide safer and cleaner operations
- Strong communication with corporate management and sales ensuring daily production reports, inventory, and logistics data tracked and shared.
- Keep safety as a priority and build it within our methods and culture
- All other duties as assigned
SALARY & BENEFITS: The salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 commensurate with experience.
