The Buyer Engagement Specialist role is a positive and energetic sales hunter that loves the automotive business. You will work independently and remote/work from home options are available. You will (re)introduce buyers to the digital auction converting warm leads and cold calling prospects. Excellent phone skills are required, including the ability to get to the decision-maker and present strong value propositions. You will register new buyers on the platform and be responsible for their purchasing over an initial period.  Our ideal candidate is based out of Burlington, VT for team gatherings, but this role is remote (or hybrid) so if you have the automotive and account management experience, we'd love to talk to you about it!

 

What You Will Do –

  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
  • Register new buyers to the platform as well as reengage “drop off buyers” to return to buyer status.  
  • A mix of cold and warm calls to dealers with the intention of getting them to register on the platform and ultimately buy a car(s)
  • Work with the sales team of your region to proactively place cars with potential buyers
  • Responsible for increasing net new buyers across the region month over month
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of EBlock’s platform and set new clients up for success using the platform
  • Work closely with your Regions sales team members, and others in your territory to quickly and efficiently work IF bids post sale day.  
  • Analyzes sales data and works closely with our Sales Ops team to optimize processes 
  • Keeps up to date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions and competitors and adjusts sales strategy accordingly

 

 What You Will Need

 

  • Proven experience increasing sales and revenue
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience in the auto industry preferred 
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
