Summary:
The Storeroom Attendant 2 performs material handling, inventory stocking and receiving functions and is esponsible for serving as a resource for leaders and bargaining unit personnel for materials, materials acquisition and transportation needs.
What You Will Do:
- Operates computer based inventory and purchasing systems.
- Performs inventory picking and staging, replenishment and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels and quality materials for customers.
- Provides timely and efficient service in the MRO Storeroom which includes handling customer service issues, receiving parts, equipment and supplies as requested.
- Ensures record accuracy; applies root cause analysis for discrepancies.
- Conducts ingredient warehouse and shipping duties where applicable.
- Verifies incoming shipments from vendor against packing slip; enters receipt information into SAP, and troubleshoots purchase order and receipt inquiries from accounts payable and supplier development.
- Maintains/ updates SAP information book and the online SAP help file.
- Completes inventory replenishment tasks; reviews PSS Sheets, orders and adjusts re-order points as needed.
- Works with finance personnel to help maintain unit cost accuracy, correcting any cost related issues for all branch plants, as needed.
- Maintains GMP/ISO/EMS compliance.
- Reviews items submitted for repair to determine cost efficiency; processes repair orders including contacting suppliers and PO set-up.
- Participates in orienting and training lower level staff.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of material handling and storeroom experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Navigate ladders up to 20 feet high.
- Lift 50 pounds and relocate product in a twisting motion.
- Work weekends, rotating shift and overtime.

- Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be forklift certified while employed as a Storeroom Attendant
- Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
