As a Legal Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research, reviewing documents, analyzing data, investigating issues, and managing docket due dates. What You Will Do:

• Manage US and International trademark prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance matters, including critical deadlines
• Analyze trademark search reports, prepare and file applications, and obtain legalizations
• Work with counsel to overcome objections, track opposition deadlines, and defend applications
• Conduct in-depth research, analyze evidence, and provide summaries to the Trademark Attorney and Manager
• Monitor and manage all due dates and timelines in the trademark database
• Investigate potential trademark infringement and recommend solutions to improve filing systems and procedures
• Maintain a desk manual and comply with regulatory considerations

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of legal or business office support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Required to use discretion when dealing with confidential information.
• Extremely detail orientated, focus on data entry accuracy.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of legal experience.
• Trademark experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Experience writing routine reports and correspondence. Experience speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Experience applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Experience dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Computer skill requirements include: intermediate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
• Knows the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
• Perform routine work by following detailed instruction that requires little evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $25.96-$38.94
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
