What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Supervisor position at E-Konomy Pool Service?
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned pool technicians. This position will ensure that all assigned work is performed in a safe, timely, effective, and efficient manner by implementing E-Konomy processes. The incumbent is tasked with coaching, training and resolving issues as well as serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the onboarding and ongoing training for pool maintenance technicians.
- Perform needs assessments on pool maintenance technicians to determine and address areas of opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Perform and/or delegate one-time pool maintenance.
- Perform quality control inspections and ensure all items are completed by technicians.
- Allocate extra pools to technicians.
- Clean extra pools when necessary.
- Cover open pool routes when vacant of for vacation/illness coverage.
- Support pool technicians with troubleshooting equipment chemicals and equipment/chemical safety.
- Supervise, motivate, develop, and provide direct leadership to subordinates.
- Resolve customer disputes and escalate to maintenance manager if not resolved on first contact.
- Communicate concerns and recommend repairs to customers; perform limited repairs on serviced pools.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- 2 years’ experience in the pool and spa industry.
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory position.
- CPO Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
- Pima County Health Pool Operator Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Operate a company vehicle.
