Mortgage Loan Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our top-producing team. As a licensed MLO you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining mortgage loans and guiding them through the entire loan process. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' financial status and creditworthiness to determine their eligibility for various mortgage loan products.
• Educate clients about different loan options, terms, and requirements, helping them make informed decisions based on their financial goals and needs.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, including collecting necessary documentation, verifying information, and preparing loan packages.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely loan approval and closing process.
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and other referral sources to generate leads and expand the client base.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in loan products, sharing relevant information with clients to help them make informed decisions.
• Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns throughout the loan process.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including fair lending practices and consumer protection guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid and active NMLS.
• Proven track record as a Mortgage Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of the loan origination process and current mortgage industry practices.
• In-depth knowledge of various loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate clients' financial information and recommend suitable loan options.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
• Proficient computer skills and experience working with loan origination software and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with mortgage loan regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and SAFE Act, ensuring compliance in all loan transactions.
• High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
