SUMMARY

The Receiving Lead will oversee receiving employees in the receiving department. A Receiving Lead will have experience in leading, coaching, and ensuring procedures and safety practices are being followed throughout the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Closing receiving at the end of the shift.
• Ensures the team and facility comply with safety standards and company policy.
• Assists with on the job training for new employees and coaches team members on tasks based on job descriptions.
• Ensure shipping schedule is being followed and shipments are delivered in timely manner.
• Performs cycle counts, manual consumptions, post/receiving in SAP.
• Provide direction and troubleshoots with team members to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Conveying scheduling information to employees.
• Stage product for production team.
• Continuous improvement ideas and alignment with management.
• Ability to successfully lead, guide, direct, and develop a team of production.
• Perform any additional duties requested by the operations manager.

Job Qualifications/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with bedding products
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Always on your feet
• Fast learner and self-motivated
• Experience managing a team
• Training/Retaining
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• Excellent work ethic, strong personal drive
• Ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.75 per hour
