Overview
The Supply Management Consultant is to procure, expedite and schedule deliveries of materials and services to the project jobsite. In this role, the Supply Management Consultant works collaboratively with the Technical Managers to ensure that all required items of work to be purchased or contracted are bought on time, have the correct scope of work, are from qualified domestic and international suppliers and contractors, are within budget, and comply with all policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the Supply Management Consultant participates in the bidding and proposal process and assists in the evaluation and selection of suppliers and contractors to provide engineering services, construction services and supply major subsystems and complex, high-value equipment and components.
Responsibilities
• Review and support development of Procurement and Materials Management Plans, ensuring contractual obligations are captured.• Review Contractor’s Ts&Cs and ensure flowdown.• Review procurement reports from contractor and provide updates to project team.• Interpret contractual obligations & positions, coordinate, and manage conflict resolution with suppliers/contractors and owner to drive resolution and formalize outcome contractually.• Provide recommendation on the development and implementation of strategies and solutions.• Maintain records to demonstrate that proper protocol is followed.• Advise owner on proper contract management and administration Best Practices.• Host regular meetings with Project Team and Contractor.• Provide weekly updates.• Report 30 day lookahead.• Coordinate weekly meetings.
1) Procurement meeting coordinator (with Contractor's lead).2) Review meetings notes and update internal team on past due & soon to be due activities.
• Track deliverables requirements, contract compliance, and related contractual matters.• Review Procurement Plan and provide feedback.• Coordinate management and updating of Owner’s Approved Manufacturer’s List.• Manage sole source and single source requests.• Ensure flowdown of Owner T&Cs to Subcontractors.• Oversee Critical Procurement activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.• Experience monitoring RFQs/RFPs.• Ability to review Bid evaluation criteria and review award recommendations.• Experience tracking and ensuring all auditable procurement records and coordination procedures are being maintained and uploaded to document control system.• Experience tracking and reviewing claims that arise between Contractor/Subcontractor on a monthly basis.• Ability to communicate to Project Team on the timing of quality and inspection activities for Subcontractors.• Experience reviewing procurement close-out documents and support Supply Management close-out activities.

Wage Data Per State Requirements
Salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
