Studio Sage, a full-service, state-of-the-art broadcast and green screen studio for the age when content is queen. Specialties include webcasts and webinars, virtual events and conference broadcasts, and corporate and brand videos.
Position Overview:
Seeking passionate candidates in the fields of lighting direction, stage management, director of broadcast, graphic operators or audio/visual engineering. Candidates will be considered for projects where they will be facilitating and executing pre-recorded and live broadcast programs. This person must be solution oriented and able to troubleshoot technical issues proficiently.
This position is contracted by project. Start date, hours, and schedule depend on the project.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build programs based on provided ROS and creative assets
Execute pre-record or live programs utilizing studio equipment
Facilitate single or multiple day programs that may include multiple speakers (up to 5) either remotely or in-person at the studio
Troubleshoot any system issues with studio equipment
Understand the basic foundations of streaming and encoding
Understanding and ability to utilize all features of studio equipment
Proficiency in configuration of system settings to match specific project needs
Identify asset and equipment needs defined by the ROS and content trackers provided by the client/studio
Address redundancy and contingency workflow plans
Clear and consistent communication with producer
Maintains professional communication with team members and client contacts
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
6 months experience with live events, virtual events or broadcasting
1 year experience using live broadcast equipment and software
Experience with pre-recording and broadcasting multiple speakers and panels
Proficient in using Gsuite is a plus
Ability to multitask and host more than one role at a time for a project
Knowledge of streaming technology and encoding
Ability to be flexible and agile with project changes and needs
Intuition for show calling and transitions within program feeds
