A Treatment Coordinator's main priority is to not only be the best part of our patient's day, but to see their assigned patients in a timely manner, while creating the most special patient experience and connection. The Treatment Coordinator's main goal is to convert as many patients possible.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for seeing every consultation in your assigned column throughout the day. These consultations may vary between New Patient Exams, Observations, Conferences, Treatment Summaries, Re-Treat Exams, and Re-Exams. *Responsible for making sure you complete all necessary duties from the previous consultation before moving on to the next patients; keeping your time limit to the allocated appointment time templated. *Convert as many patients as possible into same day starts as SDS are part of our culture. If a patient cannot start same day, then it is your responsibility to schedule their next appointment before they leave the office! *Must have a knowledge and understanding of all orthodontic appliances and procedures recommended throughout treatment. (Expanders, Bracket Types, Extractions/Exposures, Bite Correctors, Interproximal Reduction, etc.) *Responsible for documenting all details from the consultations in the patient's chart. *Responsible for writing up and reviewing financial arrangements, proposals and autopayments as well as taking down payments for your same day starts. You must be comfortable discussing/handling money, and be very detailed when taking payments and what the terms cover prior to receiving final signatures from the responsible party.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Computer experience Flexible Schedule Preferred Requirements: RDA and or COA Certification Associate’s Degree in related field CPR Certification 1-2 years recent experience in dental environment
