Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

Position: Package Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations within the assigned area.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate package deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service by delivering packages with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent damage.
• Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule from Monday to Saturday

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Lift up to 150 pounds with hand trunk/forklift or physically lift up to 50 Lbs boxes.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proved experience as a delivery driver.
• One should possess at least 6 months to 1 year of box truck driving experience.
