Eads Roofing is a locally owned exterior home restoration service. We specialize in residential roofing and insurance claims. We are currently hiring for a hybrid role as an Admin and accounts receivables. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has experience in customer service, HR, management, and construction. The Hdmin/AR will be responsible for all accounting duties including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Budgeting, as well as Human Resources duties. This is a full-time, M-F position, in the office - not a remote/hybrid position.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
- Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
- Create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
- Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Run Payroll through ADP
- Manage Quickbooks Account
- Recruiting, interviewing and hiring new employees
- Overseeing the signing, editing and termination of employee contracts
- Approving PTO requests and sick absences
- Protecting employee’s rights in regards to federal regulations
- Enforcing company policies
- Investigating reports of misbehavior in the workplace
- Mediating employee disputes and administering employee discipline
Requirements:
- Extensive prior experience in human resources
- 3 years of experience in a human resources position
- Possesses superb written and spokencommunication skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Quickbooks, ADP, Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keeping. (Experience with Acculynx is a plus!)
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
