What are the responsibilities and job description for the NIBIN Trainer - 2nd Shift position at Eagle Harbor?
Eagle Harbor LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a NIBIN Trainer(s) to work 2nd shift in Huntsville, AL.
Overview:
The NIBIN Trainer shall have at least 6 months of independent correlation review experience and have the ability to teach approved NIBIN Classes. They will provide support to the Training Center and NIBIN User Account Maintenance. In high peak situations, a NIBIN Trainer can be assigned to assist others working on Correlation Review backlogs. The candidate shall have excellent customer relations skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, team members and NIBIN Sites/users.
Qualified candidates will be expected to:
- Become an ATF Certified NIBIN Trainer to train NIBIN Users in the following areas:
- Acquisition of Cartridge Cases;
- Correlation Review;
- Triaging of Ballistic Evidence
- NIBIN Authorized Trainer (NAT).
- Plan, complete and present complex projects and learning plans;
- Work with and coordinate efforts of local, state and Federal law enforcement;
Position Requirements:
Required:
- Must have at least 6 months experience in performing independent correlation reviews.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or possession of an equivalent combination of formal education, work experience and on the job training.
- Proven ability to identify and overcome obstacles to established work plans.
- Must be a self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Power Point, Word, and Visio.
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of management and co-workers.
Preferred:
- Two years of experience with local, State or Federal law enforcement in a relevant area is preferred.
