Responsibilities:
- Serves as accounting and financial management lead for institutional reporting
- Performs accounting procedures and techniques for financial reporting requirements for CRM and works with an Oracle-based accounting system that involves different programs generating a large number of transactions.
- Has knowledge of financial administration of contracts including contract line items, structure of the contracts, option periods, and other administrative and technical aspects of the supporting contracts.
- Provides guidance on the accurate recording of complex accounting events, applies appropriate cost accounting techniques, and possesses an understanding of the principles of financial statement compilation such as to ensure internal control compliance over financial reporting standards meeting the Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 / Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagement (SSAE) 18 reporting compliance standards
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established between: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00
The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in the healthcare services industry preferred
- Good working knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Software or other high-end project-oriented accounting system
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
- Excellent attention and accuracy with details
- Strong individual initiative
- Strong commitment to quality
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
- Minimum Education and Experience
- A BA/BS Degree from an accredited university.
- 8 years of accounting and financial management experience, including at least 5 years of increasing responsibilities as a team leader or first level supervisor.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may also be qualifying.
