Eagleville Hospital is seeking a FT Desktop/Help Desk Analyst. The Desktop Analyst’s role is to ensure proper technology operations so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.
Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Director and Desktop Support Manager in performing call center duties and issue management.
- Utilize current Help Desk software (FMX) in performing Help Desk responsibilities.
- Provide end user support and trouble shoot computing and printing problems.
- Maintain cooperative, courteous and respectful demeanor in all interactions with patients, visitors, and other employees.
- Perform Operational duties on a recurring basis.
- Performs other system/department duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in the field of computer science or information systems preferred
- 1-2 years equivalent work experience preferred
- MCP or similar IT certification is preferred
- Knowledge of computer hardware.
- Experience with desktop operating systems, including Microsoft Windows.
- Support experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computer, peripherals, and printers.
