Job description

We are looking for a Spanish Bilingual Translator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the job include providing support to our managers in translating work instructions, confidential documents and assisting in daily office needs.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you have previous experience as a bilingual translator and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in Spanish/English.
• Microsoft Office experience – Excel preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Available for 1st shift – full time hours 7a-3:30p Mon-Fri
• Excellent communication skills
• Translation experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience

Skills

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School degree: additional qualification as an administrative assistant or translator will be a plus.
