Job Description: The Preventative Maintenance Technician will provide One Service, preventative maintenance services, to contracted customers within a 50-mile radius of the service area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance according to the One Service Maintenance Contract which includes standard routine predictive maintenance tasks, assessing and replacing wear parts and fault detection.
Reporting concerns regarding potential equipment failures per the One Service process.
Complete work orders for proper billing of the customer.
Maintain parts inventory in Parts Locker at the customer site to ensure no break in service or customer downtime.
Document parts utilized on the work order for properly billing of the customer.
In conjunction with customer personnel, complete annual inventory of the parts locker
Assist with evaluation of the needs of newly contracted customers
Identify the serialized equipment will be captured in the Contract:
Conduct an audit on every machine to be included in the Contract.
Create and maintain schedule with contracted customers considering quality and timely service as well as efficient travel.
Train operators as needed and requested by contracted customers.
Periodic Courtesy Calls with contracted customers so to maintain good relationships with plant personnel and enhance customer confidence in the One Service Program.
Profile and Background:
Understanding of machines and their systems to include but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
Basic experience with Control systems utilizing Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLC’s
Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, understanding sensors, electric motors and how they interact.
Ability to use a multimeter, perform point to point, read electrical schematics and trace.
Ability to use and read Calipers micrometers.
Ablility to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis.
Excellent Planning, Organizational and Time Management skills.
Strong communication skills and positive demeanor to enable promotion of the One Service Program.
Ability for occasional overnight travel and weekend work as required.
