What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural BIM Modeler position at EAPC?
We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong design background who is eager to start or advance their career with an award-winning, full-service design and consulting firm! We are seeking a talented Structural BIM Modeler to join our Structural Engineering team.
As a Structural BIM Modeler at EAPC, you will:
- Prepare, revise, and submit a variety structural drawing using Revit and AutoCAD
- Work on a variety of projects types including healthcare, education, and civic among others
- Learn necessary details of the plans & specifications for assigned projects.
- Multi-task daily while changing direction as needed to meet changing business and client needs.
- Learn and adhere to company drafting standards.
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
To join us, you should have:
- A.A.S. Degree in Architectural/Computer Aided Design, or equivalent work experience
- Must have Revit and AutoCAD knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Knowledge of current building codes and ADA requirements.
- Minimum one year of professional experience in architectural design or equivalent scope of work, including proficiency with Revit
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Thorough understanding of BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be willing to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
The position will report directly to the Structural Department Manager and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting technicians.
