General Warehouseperson
I. General Function
1.1 Operations handling equipment to load and unload tubing, bar, plate and sheet from trucks and place in warehouse storage location. Under supervision of Warehouse Leadman, Warehouse Supervisor, or Manager Plant Operations. Loads and unloads vehicles. Places material in storage or removes from storage to complete customer orders.
II. Position Requirement:
2.1 Prior experience is preferred, but training for this position is acceptable.
III. Position Responsibilities:
3.1 Operates forklift, Raymond side loader, order picker and overhead crane to move material in warehouse.
3.2 Loads and unloads trucks using handling equipment, places materials in storage locations.
3.3 May operate saw or other equipment to process, package and load.
3.4 May receive, inspect and verify material count.
3.5 May perform other duties as assigned, if qualified.
3.6 May check OMS to release orders to be filled.
IV. REPORTS TO ASSISTANT MANAGER PLANT OPERATIONS (OR DEIGNATED PERSON)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.78 per hour
