What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard Day/Night Shift 2pm-10pm position at Earth's Healing?
Earth's Healing is looking for new or experienced security guards. Preference given to
candidates with Unarmed Guard Cards.
● Patrol property to prevent theft, vandalism, intruders
● Respond to emergencies: accidents, injuries, incidents, crimes
● Direct or escort visitors as needed and instructed
● Assist with investigations and police matters as needed
● Proactively investigate disturbances/unusual activity
● Deescalate incidents; prevent issues before they arise or escalate
● Complete detailed and timely incident reports
● Immediately notify Security Manager of incidents
● Restrict customers and patients from entering facilities with firearms or weapons
● Possess thorough understanding of all emergency response procedures
● Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to reduce and mitigate on-site conflict
● Correct use of PPE as required and instructed
● Other duties as requested
Qualifications/Experience may include, but are not limited to, the following:
● Ability to pass a criminal background check (per state of Arizona requirements)
● At least 21 years of age (per state of Arizona requirements)
● Ability to be on time every day. Ability to work 7 days/week, nights, weekends, holidays. Day and night shifts available.
● Ability to communicate in a friendly, compassionate & helpful manner
● Ability to assess threats, incidents, unusual situations, and react appropriately
● Military, law enforcement, security experience highly preferred
● Possession of Unarmed Guard Card highly preferred
● Experience in guard positions, threat assessment or equivalent training highly preferred
● High School diploma, GED preferred
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 2pm-10pm
