SALARY: $47,000 - $49,000 plus benefits (OTRS employer and employee portions paid by ECU;
$698/monthly defined benefit applied to health insurance)
The Project Coordinator is funded through the PEER-START SIP grant, a five-year grant that provides enhanced academic support to students. This position is located in the Academic Success Center (ASC) and is responsible for oversight of the UNIV-1001 Tiger Connect freshmen seminar course, creating and providing faculty advisor training, and completing other duties that support the work of the Academic Success Center and the PEER-START grant objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS: Two years’ experience in higher project coordination, curriculum development, teaching, or related post-secondary education field. Two years’ experience working with post- secondary students from underrepresented populations.
Proficient in the use of MS Excel. Ability to make presentations to multiple audiences. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of first-year advising preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, Business Mgmt., Marketing, Public Relations or related field required.
