Job Description: National Wholesale Accounts Manager
Position Overview: As a National Wholesale Accounts Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth in the soft goods division of our parts department by identifying and engaging potential wholesale customers for our private label items. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and present suitable products to meet those needs. You will be the frontline ambassador of the company, actively contributing to expanding the customer base and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential wholesale customers through market research, referrals, and networking.
- Generate leads and maintain a pipeline of prospects for future sales opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and cultivate relationships with wholesale customers, understanding their requirements and pain points.
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to maintain strong communication and address any concerns.
Product Presentation and Consultation:
- Present company products to potential customers in a compelling and tailored manner.
- Understand the features and benefits of our products, and articulate how they meet or exceed our customers needs.
- Participate in regular industry shows & conventions throughout the country.
Sales Process:
- Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with potential clients.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches to showcase the value proposition of products or services.
- Address customer questions, objections, and concerns effectively and quickly.
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, aiming to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Process sales orders and follow up to ensure successful order processing and delivery.
Market Insights and Feedback:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to provide input for product improvements and enhancements.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to upper management.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with our products.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing, manufacturing and shipping to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the sharing of best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in a wholesale or B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Clean driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
- Willingness to travel out of state up to 75% of the time to meet customers and prospects as required.
- Knowledge of the auto transport and trucking industries would be very helpful.
