Friar’s Head is looking for energetic and talented people to join our team of food and beverage professionals. We have openings for a Bartender. Low volume but attention to detail is of utmost importance. We have steady bar volume, without the overwhelmingly hectic bar atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

· Exhibiting a thorough knowledge of all menu and bar items. Take drink and food orders accurately by confirming preferences/modifiers. Enter the order into POS with use of correct table and seat numbers.

· Daily set-up to prepare bar for service.

· Mix, prepare and serve drinks to members, guests and wait staff according to standard recipes.

· Maintain and clean bar area and equipment.

· Maintain liquor, beer and wine inventories to ensure bar is fully stocked at all times.

· Requisition bar supplies as necessary.

· Ensure that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards from occurring, and take precautions against possible spoilage.

· Follow state laws and policies regarding alcoholic beverage service.

· Reliable and driven individuals with a great attitude and passion for providing excellent hospitality.

· Provide outstanding service with a smile to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.

· Display teamwork and is willing to go above and beyond for our members and guests.

· Neat appearance (must be clean shaven) and good communication skills.

· Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.

· Punctuality and a good attendance record are expected.

· Minimum one year bartending experience or bartending school certificate required.
