Licensed Veterinary Technician

As a full-service veterinary office, we offer state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, an array of advanced care, routine and advanced surgical procedures, and many other services to provide your pet with the best possible care. We are searching for a compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team who has a great sense of humor!

Position Skills:

• Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
• Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
• Associates degree in Veterinary Technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
