We are looking for veterinary assistants with a great attitude and aptitude for learning. If your passion is animal welfare and working with dynamic, exceptional, professionals, then we want to talk to you.

We work with small animals, exotics and urban wildlife. While our facility is brand new, our staff represents decades of experience and industry leadership.

Responsibilities

*Provide top-notch nursing care to according to hospital standards of care and core values *Understand classification of commonly-used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response. *Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration. *Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, temperature, respiratory rate and effort. *Possess a working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment and assist with patients assigned ASA I or II classifications. *Is a “people person” with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Employment Details

*Compensation is commensurate with experience *Hospital hours (M-F 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM and Saturday & Sunday 8:30AM to 6:30 PM) *Dependable attendance and a good employment history is required *Agree to a full background check *2 Years' experience as a veterinary assistant or technician required
