    The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public Career and Technical Education District (CTED) providing tuition-free career and technical education (CTE) programs to high school students – public, charter, and home-schooled – and tuition-based programs to adults who reside in 11 school districts in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

    EVIT offers over 40 CTE programs at four centralized campuses. Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams. EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year. Two out of three EVIT students go on to college.

    Applications are being accepted for the position of Anatomy and Physiology Instructor (Intro to Health Programs) with the East Valley Institute of Technology. This is a Human Anatomy & Physiology teaching position with an emphasis on Health Careers. The starting date is approximately July 62, 2022. The beginning salary for this position is approximately $21,424 - $35,325 competitive slary based on education and like experience. This is a 10-month, part-time position. Hours are Mon. - Fri., 11:30am - 4:00pm.

    Job Summary:
    To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their educational potential.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a biological science, health science, physical science, or nursing, and 240 clock hours of verified occupational experience in the health careers occupations; OR
    • 6,000 clock hours of verified occupational experience in health careers occupations; AND
    • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card;AND
    • Arizona Department of Education Carer and Technical Education Health Careers teaching certification; AND one of the following
      • Secondary Education, 6-12
      • Specialized Secondary Certificate STEM 6-12
      • Subject Matter Expert
