East West Bank, based in Pasadena, California, is currently seeking a Director of Specialty Deposit for the Central and Southeast Commercial Banking Region. Candidate should have proven experience developing a deposit portfolio across diverse markets. We are seeking a deposit gatherer with the ability to bring in significant new business immediately.
Responsibilities
- The Director will focus on generating revenue from new clients and seek for new business opportunities within the specialty deposits area.
- Research of new markets, lead development and sales relationship management. Identify new business areas such as 3rd party escrow, class action settlements, 1031 exchanges, title and escrow, property management, HOA, etc..
- Proven track history in outside sales, preferably in bank deposit gathering.
- Provides advice and counsel to prospects and customers regarding deposits and related matters, representing the Bank's best interests at all times.
- Consistently operates in compliance with banking laws and regulations, established Bank policies and procedures, audit and security policies.
- Manage the profitability of the deposit portfolio
Qualifications
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of the Bank's products and services especially with regards to deposit and cash management products and services
- Excellent relationship management skills, excellent presentation skills with the ability to work well independently.
- 15 years of senior level knowledge and experience in commercial bank operations, deposit products, complex treasury products / current technology trends, sales.
- Proven ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
- Understanding of regulations governing financial products/services.
- Experience within the legal, accounting, or specialty markets strongly preferred.
- Four year college degree strongly preferred

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.Salary : $65,000 - $220,000
