Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | East Liberty
- Start Date: July 2023
- Hours: T/Th 6 am - 5:30 pm; open to offering date nights or a third day each week for the perfect fit
- Hourly Rate: $26-32/hr
- One Baby: Will be 6-8 weeks old at start of position
- COVID & Flu Shots Preferred
- Pets: 2 dogs (will be in their own designated areas within the home)
- Paid Vacation: Two days of the nanny's choice, two days of the family's choice, two sick or personal days, and two paid holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Soon-to-be-parents seek a nurturing, proactive, long-term nanny for their newborn! This precious family is about to have their lives changed once their baby arrives, and we are hoping for an experienced, loving fit to help ease into this transition. The nanny will come alongside to nuzzle those sweet baby cheeks, bottle feeding, cuddles, nap, and help to establish a routine. Who doesn’t love those first firsts?! The new baby will be the top priority for the nanny, allowing him or her to truly soak in gentle coos, toothless smiles, and happy giggles. If time allows, this family would appreciate help with baby laundry, dishwasher duty, washing and sanitizing bottles and keeping the house picked up. As trust is grown between these new parents and their nanny, they would be open to an occasional stroll around their lovely neighborhood and getting outside for fresh air. This is the perfect opportunity for the nanny eager to come alongside new parents for the long haul, becoming a caring and trusty part of their unit for years to come!

You genuinely love the newborn baby phase-- as days old grow into months old, you can keep up and encourage those first-year milestones with joy and knowledge. You enjoy working as a team with loving parents, both parties, in pursuit of the best experience for this new baby. You’ll communicate any issues/needs/or accomplishments promptly and clearly, setting the pace at home by keeping things peaceful, organized, and always safe! These super-sweet parents are excited to welcome a nanny to their growing family; you’ll be an extension of their love and care on the homefront.
Requirements and Benefits
Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
