The EASTCONN Clinical Day Treatment Program is seeking  a full-time Instructor to provide 1:1 support with children with autism and related disabilities in our EXCELS (Excellence in Community, Employment, and Life Skills) classroom.  This position will support students at the High School and/or middle school level who need an intensive approach to instruction on fuctional academic and life skills.  

Minimal requirements: 

  • B.A. degree; concentration in child development or related field is preferred.
  • Computer competency required.
  • Must successfully complete PMT certification within 6 weeks of hire. 

Experience with children with autism spectrum disorders or significant behavioral needs and application of applied behavior analysis preferred.
