What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical/Therapy Supervisor position at Easter Seals Florida?
Salary will be between $61,000 to $63,000 per year (and based on experience)
We are currently seeking a Clinical/Therapy Supervisor for our Southernmost Coast Early Steps program in Miami. Our program services children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays. The Clinical/Therapy Supervisor oversees clinic services and works directly clients, families and clinicians to ensure the highest standard of services is provided. The Clinical/Therapy Supervisor leads, supervises, and provides support to our team of evaluating therapists and contracted evaluators. The Clinical/Therapy Supervisor also provides education and training to staff, providers, and families. Additionally, the Clinical/Therapy Supervisor will carry and maintain a client caseload, completing evaluations, writing plans of care, providing direct treatment and parent coaching and education.
What We Value:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational, Physical or Speech Language Pathology, Education or related field
- At least one year of supervisory experience preferred; superior leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage staff
- One year of hands-on experience with young children and families
- Must have experience working with the birth to age three population
- Must have the ability to engage people and lead a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, to include diplomatically addressing difficult situations and people (clients and staff alike), providing constructive feedback, and earning professional respect of peers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-focused behavior
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business
