What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Training and Development position at Easter Seals Florida?
Salary will be between $48,000 and $52,000 annually (and based on experience)
Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week (includes health insurance and time off benefits)
We are seeking an organized, dynamic, and dedicated individual to serve as the organization's Staff Training & Development Coordinator. This position is responsible for managing the organization's staff training program by developing and presenting engaging and high-quality training and administering a user-friendly learning management platform (Tovuti). Easterseals University training program's content is largely virtual on-demand but does consist of live virtual trainings or in-person trainings, depending on content. Additionally, research and coordination of professional level external trainings are coordinated by the Staff Training & Development Coordinator. The qualified candidate will primarily work from home, however, travel will be required. The ideal candidate can be located in Tampa, Winter Park, Palm Bay, West Palm Beach, or Port St. Lucie.
Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Design interactive courses using Articulate 360
- Create attractive and appealing designs for the LMS and Courses using Articulate, Canva and other design tools
- Manage creation, assignment, and monitor completion of various required compliance trainings annually
- Work with subject area experts across the organization on development of new courses
- Maintain communication with staff about Easterseals University and its offerings through email and blog
- Coordinate with Allies at Work workgroup in the design and implementation of annual diversity campaign
- Manage external training budget for the organization including GROW grant funded program training budget
- Manage the implementation of personalized staff development plans for select staff

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and 3 or more years of staff development and training experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with LMS software, Articulate 360 or similar content creation software, and Canva or other design software.
- Work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
- Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and be able to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Flexible, dependable, professional and accountable
- Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, to drive to meetings and for other business-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
