Instructor in Sociology

The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for an instructor in Sociology to begin August 2024. A Master's Degree in Sociology is required; a Ph.D. in Sociology preferred. We are seeking a broadly trained sociologist who can teach courses that serve our general education curriculum. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching Introductory Sociology, Social Problems, and Social Stratification, as well as current departmental offerings.
