Youth Program Director

Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for Youth Program Director at The Titan Sports & Performance Center. The Youth Program Director organizes and supervises youth development programs and manages the Youth Development staff.  The Youth Program Director reports directly to the General Manager. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Managerial Tasks

• Make decisions regarding Youth Programs (Pre-K, Primary & Middle School level programming) 
• Evaluate and supervise Youth Programs staff
• Hold periodic Youth Programs staff meetings to review procedures, policies, department changes, etc.
• Handle all issues and injuries in youth programs; complete and submit proper documentation
• Train new staff on policies and procedures
• Ensure staff is following and maintaining proper policies & procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Assistant GM/General Manager 

Youth Development Programs

• Organize youth programs and classes
• • Pre-K (Lil’s, early morning classes, etc.)
  • • Turf Field & Court programming 
  • Primary School 
  • Middle School 
• Organize and update rosters and binders 
• Create and maintain curriculums for classes
• Collect payments for youth programs prior to start of program
• Evaluate and make changes to improve each program
• Provide quality guest service for youth programs and guests
• Schedule, organize, staff and direct youth programs
• Hold monthly staff /team building meetings
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding upcoming events and programs
• Maintain Youth Programs budget 
• • Hit programming budget goals 
  • Increase revenues year over year

General

• Order supplies and equipment when necessary and within budgeting requirements
• Make decisions regarding Youth Programs
• Create and maintain new youth programs 
• Reach out to potential vendors for new programs
• Create invoices for vendor programs
• Attend marketing events
• Reach out to local organizations such as daycares and churches to expand class offerings 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage and supervise a total of 10-30 employees in various youth programs
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of youth sports classes.
• Carry out managerial and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the FFH’s policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws or guidelines.
• Interview, hire, and train new employees; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Maintain appropriate records for tracking coaching time for the incentive program.
• Reconcile and award for retention in a timely manner.
