Clinical Assessor- Contractor- Raleigh

Easterseals UCP is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Clinical Assessor to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary Outpatient Therapy (OPT) team designed to provide treatment for individuals, youths and families, or groups.

What You’ll Do

The Clinical Assessor will complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments in an effort to identify behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns essential to making treatment recommendations for individuals seeking treatment. The Clinical Assessor will also carry a small caseload and provide behavioral health counseling to adults, children, adolescents, or families.

This is an opportunity for an independent contractor and is not an employment position.

This is a Monday- Friday 12pm-5pm or 1pm- 6pm

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you must provide assessments and clinical diagnostic services for persons seeking clinical treatment, including assessment of strength and supports. You will also provide 1:1, group, and/or family counseling as stipulated by specific referral to individuals and families with emotional and/or behavioral concerns.We also require the following:

• Have master’s degree in a related field
• Be fully or provisionally license in appropriate discipline required – either LCSW; LPC; LMFT; LCAS; LCSW-A; LPC-A; LMFT-A.
• Must have at least one year’s fulltime, documented experience with the population served.
• Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry
• Maintain valid insurance for personal vehicles utilized for work
