IT Technology Technician

The technician role works in a team environment to deliver business solutions. This involves engaging with business clients, vendors, internal onsite experts, and contract resources to support IT solutions.

Internal development and administration work includes upgrading and maintaining third party applications and software support.

* Perform complex troubleshooting.
* Manage and support inhouse written applications. (PIMS)
* Support, upgrade, and enhancements
* Support IT initiatives
* Ensure specifications are met for hardware and software (memory usage, drive size, disc space)
* Manage software on servers (Aveva, PI, PIMS, Sample Manager)
* Request group accounts
* Coordinate and monitor manufacturing applications including LIMS, PIMS, Windows, and custom applications
* Configure software suite.
* Serve as liaison between manufacturing clients and IT.
* Participate in 24 X 7 on-call rotational support.

* Computer Skills.
* People Skills. Capable of working with a broad range of skilled professionals, including Operations Personnel, Process Improvement Engineers, Production Managers, Chemists, Laboratory Technicians, and Systems Analysts. Must be able to work well with others and in a team environment.
* Communication. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to write technical documentation, discuss technical problems, lead training sessions, and collaborate in a clear and concise manner.
* Technical Skills. Drive to learn and absorb new technology to solve business problems and improve business processes.
* Problem Solving Skills. Able to troubleshoot and problem solve complex data systems.
* Organizational and Time Management. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
* Self-Starter. Ability to take broad instructions and translate those into specific tasks. Must work well with minimal supervision and be result focused.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in Technology-related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience is preferred
