Job Title: CTE Welding Teacher
Schools: Eastpointe High School

Having listened to our business community, we look to add a welding program to our already amazing CTE team. You will have the support of the administration, fellow teachers, and the community. Our partnership with the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and MI Excel has created a unique opportunity for rapid district turnaround. Part of our continued growth and improvement involves increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing all students to address academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. Eastpointe High School is a grade 9-12 building with an enrollment of 1100 students and capacity to serve over 2500.

State of Michigan Teaching Certification, or MTTC testing, or in process
Organizational Skills-Instruments, Inventory
Welding Certification
Successful record of Leadership
This is a part time position with possibility of full time providing non welding courses
