POSITION TITLE: Branch Manager, Professional Division
LOCATION: Costa Mesa, CA (Hybrid - In office Mondays and Wednesdays)
COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $80,000 Uncapped Commissions
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary focus of the Branch Manager is on driving recruitment efforts, assisting the team (including workflow and requisition management), and client development and support. The Branch Manager is expected to ensure operational excellence through the provision of quality service to clients, candidates, and contractors; as well as lead marketing activities, and be actively involved in the development of new business and the growth of existing accounts.
The Branch Manager will also be expected to directly recruit candidates and fill orders, including interviewing, screening and reference-checking candidates; conducting presents and de-briefs; marketing candidates; and conducting follow-up and quality control checks on all placements to ensure appropriate matching and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
- Screen, test, interview, and match candidates to clients’ temporary, temporary to permanent, and permanent hiring needs.
- Complete reference checks, drug screening, background checks and credentials on candidates
- Drive sales to existing and prospective clients, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, and conducting sales visits.
- Prospecting and scouring new business through cold calling. drop-in visits. and sales appointments with Managers and C-Level executives.
- 1-2 sales visits per week
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all direct reports once per week on an individual basis, to include one hour at each desk reviewing top applicants, top job orders, and stepping in as necessary to troubleshoot or close a deal; review focus and activities, monitor progress relative to revenue objectives, and to provide feedback/re-direction as necessary.
- Submit a minimum of 12 candidates per week (15 if in an administrative division)
- Produce a minimum of $25,000 in gross profit per month ($75,000/quarter)
- Team members are expected to have 12 interviews per week
- 5 MPCs per week
- Track all billings to ensure quotas are being met.
- Each team member is expected to meet a minimum of $25,000 in gross margin per month (after ramp up time)
- Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions to obtain maximum results.
- Coach and assist all direct reports with negotiations and closing of deals.
- Market MPC talent to new and existing clients, and drive/direct MPG marketing with the team.
- Build a high performance team; develop, assess and manage all direct reports.
- Conduct/facilitate weekly team meetings (including job order meetings and training sessions) to provide on-going training and development to staff.
- Manage candidate-recruiting efforts including classified advertising, web advertising, and website content, and seek out other recruiting means for attracting top talent.
- Respond to and resolve client and candidate issues in a timely manner, bringing issues to the attention of the Employee's Manager as appropriate.
- Maintain communication with all clients and former clients who have previously placed orders. Meet with top 10 clients once every other month.
- Ensure that telephonic quality control checks are being done with clients on all placements (30, 60, 90 days).
- Ensure that operational procedures are implemented and correctly executed (including reference checks, background checks, and quality control checks, as applicable).
- Recommend and enhance operational procedures and systems to meet sales targets and to improve the overall quality of service.
- Manage and review job orders, and manage job postings on the website.
- Develop relationships with other division managers throughout the organization.
- Participate in public relations/networking activities (three per month expected).
- Communicate effectively by phone, in person, and in writing.
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Develop new companies through all marketing sources; 1-3 new companies per month.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of Recruiting experience at a Recruitment Agency
- 2 years of relevant management experience required
- Continually strive for new education and training to further personal and business development
- Passion and take ownership of your role
- Be fanatical about data integrity and tracking information on candidates accurately and timely
