Role Responsibilities: As an Assembly Tech, you will:

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical and mechanical prototype subassemblies and final assemblies according to written specifications or engineering documentation.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving support within development engineering, assisting in determining root cause and subsequent analysis.
• Organize and maintain prototyping build and test environments, ensuring tools and equipment are available, inventoried, organized, and tracked.
• Assist Development Engineers with revisions and improvements to build and test procedures.
• Perform light testing/calibration and training to other assembly technicians as required.
• Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and package final products per specifications.
• Identify and report any product quality problems or discrepancies and document non-conformances.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP and ISO 13485 requirements and ensure proper control of device traceability materials and non-conforming material.

Qualifications:

• Experience in electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical assembly is required.
• Basic manufacturing methods experience is necessary, with medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in using torque tools, epoxy, epoxy dispensing tools, and tubing heat shrink is required.
• Superior customer service attitude and excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Certain work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and work across several product lines within a short period is necessary.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending detailed manufacturing procedures and drawings in English is required.
• A demonstrated commitment to company values and excellent manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination are essential.
