Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Operation Support Manager, the Facilities & Maintenance Technician performs a variety of building & equipment maintenance & repair duties in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, grounds keeping and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes daily maintenance and repair requests from associates and management for a variety of tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing and relocating light fixtures; repairing or replacing leaky faucets and clearing clogged drains; assembling furniture; installing signs and bulletin boards; drywall repairs, minor interior and exterior painting; repairing sprinklers, etc.
- Ensures that facilities are compliant to all city and state building & safety codes
- Ensures that grounds are kept up and maintained including cutting and general maintenance of lawn, plants, flowers, shrubs and trees; keeping lawn, walkways and parking lots free from debris; making sure exterior trash cans and smoking receptacles are emptied; and making sure snow and ice are removed from walkways and parking lots. Some or all of this work may be contracted out to a sub-contractor.
- Coordinates with outside vendors and service contractors relative to facilities and maintenance projects including obtaining and evaluating bids, scheduling work and following up to ensure jobs are done on time and meet project requirements
- Tracks and maintains records for facilities and maintenance requests; maintains preventative maintenance records
- Orders and maintains supply of materials for building maintenance, building and equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Assists with set up of office space for new hires and moves for existing associates; cubicle installs, dismantling and reconfiguration; and moving furniture.
- Supports maintenance of security for facilities; works closely with security officer to respond to employee emergencies such as medical, theft and other incidents
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Must have a general knowledge of construction industry standards, state & local building codes, and OSHA requirements
- Must be skilled in the use of hand tools associated with performance of job duties
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Oklahoma’s driver’s license is required
- At least basic PC knowledge is required
Education, Training and Experience:
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years related experience in a facilities and maintenance position required, with some experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
