Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partner with a leading developer and manufacturer of point of sales interfaces and ATMs in the search for a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both accounting and financial analyses, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This role involves a combination of tasks from accounting, finance, as well as treasury-related functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, and contributing to the company's overall financial success. This position can be fully remote or the candidate can work out of any office in Irvine-CA, San Antonio-TX, Norristown-PA or Plattsburgh-NY.
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks, including preparing financial reports and statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Review accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Establish and maintain financial policies that align with industry standards and company objectives.
- Reconcile financial accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, staying updated on changes in accounting practices.
- Collaborate with the Tax Department to support ad hoc requests and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist in forecasting quarterly and annual profits, as well as preparing cost projections to support financial planning.
Financial Analysis Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on the company's current financial status, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of historical financial data to provide actionable insights to the executive team.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and executive team to contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy.
- Compare anticipated financial results with actual outcomes, offering recommendations for enhancement of financial performance.
- Play a pivotal role in coordinating with departments and projects to support budget development, tracking, and reporting.
- Employ independent judgment and discretion to interpret financial data, making recommendations to optimize financial operations.
- Customarily exercise strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, optimizing liquidity to meet financial obligations.
- Contribute to the management of banking relationships.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from four-year college or university; and minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
