What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Secretary position at Eastridge?
Eastridge Workforce Solutions legal team has an opening for a Litigation Secretary with a large law firm in Honolulu, Hawaii. This contract position will provide litigation and administrative support to as many as three to four lawyers in a highly collaborative, fast-paced working environment. Very strong litigation skills are a must. The role is full-time onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For immediate consideration, apply today.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for litigation and administrative tasks including court filings/e-filings (state and federal), preparing and editing legal documents, time entry, expense reimbursement, coordinating travel, and calendar maintenance
- Must be familiar with local court rules
- Client contact in person and over the phone
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of litigation experience at a law firm
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and multi-task
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook; must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs
