Eastside Academy is a non-profit Christian alternative high school inspiring change in the lives of youth through high school education, counseling, recovery, housing, and life-skills programs in a Christ-centered environment.
Manage and execute Eastside Academy events. As a nonprofit, Development Department raises approximately 96% of budget:
- Dinner and Live Auction (October)
- Re: New Breakfast (March)
- Golf Tournament (June)
- Monthly Development Luncheons
- Create & Develop new events
Includes:
- Developing overall look and theme of event
- Soliciting new sponsorships and relationships for events
- Managing existing sponsors/event partners
- Bringing new donors to events
- Working with Director of Development to build relationships for events
- Successful execution of all events and their pieces
- Manage software associated with events: Greater Giving, DonorPerfect
- All aspects of event program including speakers, video, etc.
Work with Director of Development to create and meet with potential sponsors and donors
Manage Student-of-the-Month Donor Program:
- Outreach to existing/new partners
- Interview students and develop monthly mailing
Manage outreach pieces with Church Partners, specifically around event support. Moment for Mission Dates, student speakers, materials.
- Requirements:
- Four year bachelor’s degree any field
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Event planning and development experience
- Highly tuned listening skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Confident, professional, and demonstrated passion for our mission
- Strong empathy and tireless perseverance
- The highest of ethical standards
- Optimistic, positive and charismatic disposition
- Mature Christian Faith
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
