Overview:

The Legal Support Clerk for the Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs ("OLRA") will be responsible for all administrative functions and tasks for which the department is responsible. This includes organizing and maintaining all electronic and physical files and documents for the department. In addition to the administrative duties for which this individual will be responsible, this role will provide support and assistance for all team members in completion of projects and assignments as necessary to meet demanding deadlines. The OLRA Legal Support Clerk will also work closely with the Director of Regulatory Affairs to ensure that all legal and compliance updates and changes are properly and timely communicated as necessary to parties throughout the organization.

  • Responsibilities: *
  • Be a point of contact for employees, dealers, agents, and managers regarding compliance related queries
  • Organize, maintain and update corporate books and corporate organizational chart
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic corporate and compliance files (on and off-site)
  • Mailings – incoming and outgoing
  • Keep physical records
  • Review and process invoices and P-card expenses
  • Manage and order supplies for department
  • Maintain department calendar
  • Support and assist OLRA team members with projects and assignments as needed
  • This position requires 2-3 days physically in the office weekly (office located in Norcross, GA), and offer a flexible schedule

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or commensurate work experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of automobile dealership F&I process and/or products preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as a legal or compliance administrative assistant
  • Positive, flexible, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and meet challenging deadlines
  • Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure and have the ability to pivot quickly from project to project
  • Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team framework
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Demands:

As mentioned previously, this is an in-office position requiring 2-3 days in office, flexible schedule for these days is allowed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. The employee may be asked to sit for long periods of time.
