We are a recruiting company EasyHiring looking for candidates for the position of Director, ServiceNow Strategy in Blawenburg, NJ to work in Princeton, NJ for our partners.

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Strategy Leader to lead our team responsible for managing ServiceNow Strategy, Roadmap, Innovation, Governance, organizational change management and communications, vendor relationship, licensing & access management, and internal & external audits. The ideal candidate will have in-depth ServiceNow experience and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ServiceNow strategy and governance framework to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a ServiceNow roadmap that aligns with the Digital & IT strategy and business objectives and communicate the progress to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage ServiceNow to improve business processes and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date on ServiceNow trends and best practices to ensure that the organization is maximizing the value of the platform; challenge the status quo to ensure we deliver exceptional service to platform customers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their ServiceNow needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the platform and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate across the platform to support functional product owners in maximizing the value from the platform; communicate the results effectively to stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate an incubation program to adopt innovative capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead the ServiceNow OCM (Organizational Change Management) program to ensure successful value recognition & adoption of ServiceNow across the organization; this includes dynamic communication skills to engage effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the vendor relationships, including ServiceNow engagement to ensure that the organization is getting the best value from the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage ServiceNow licensing and access management to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize licensing costs.
  • Manage internal and external audits related to ServiceNow to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the ServiceNow team to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects and initiatives.
  • Define and implement governance including technical governance on the ServiceNow platform.
  • As a senior member of the ServiceNow team, demonstrate behaviors (e.g., growth mindset, a focus on the possibilities) that we want to instill within our teams. Be a change agent for the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A dynamic leader with 10 years of experience in organizational transformation and change and delivering step-change outcomes across people, processes, and technology.
  • Ability to influence and enroll stakeholders around future possibilities rather than focus on barriers to execution
  • Exhibits growth mindset and commitment to learning and curiosity – and encouraging others to do the same
  • Responsible for the direct management of one or multiple teams including results/outcomes, goal setting, performance management, and coaching.
  • Effective verbal and written communication is a must – including strong PowerPoint presentation skills to articulate future state direction and progress. Has significant input into decisions related to hiring, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation actions. Considers broader business needs when managing colleague development, recruitment, succession planning, and diversity.
  • Exhibits systems thinking – to proactively identify and communicate connections across functions.
  • Leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects including resource and budget allocation and operational leadership.
  • Oversees deliverable products, sets vision and standards for work products, and challenges teams. Lead a mix of multiple functions, geographies, and/or capabilities. Actively contributes to the strategic direction of the function by recommending initiation/curtailment of projects based on assessment of viability and impact on BMS. Decisions impact the function's ability to deliver on its objectives.
  • Delivers across a range of issues with strong influence and trust. In difficult/stressful situations shows resilience and encourages calm and rational behavior of teams. Identifies multiple solutions and recommendations to senior leaders. May contribute to decision-making that guides the strategic direction of the function.
  • Provides strategic feedback to vendors on service delivery, and influences vendor delivery at a strategic level. Synthesize multiple analyses toward solving broader business issues/initiatives. Represents discipline or function on program/project teams.
  • Identifies gaps in capabilities across the function and ensures developmental opportunities are provided to ensure the continued growth and development of colleagues.
  • Anticipates how multiple processes interrelate and can evolve. Enacts plans to evolve multiple, complex processes. Able to envision strategy with anticipation of forces/dynamics that will likely unfold.
  • Sets direction/guidance for the team with little guidance, using considerable judgment. Contributes to the development of multiple topic areas and/or multiple functions/regions. Drive setting functional direction. Recognized as a thought leader.
  • Makes resource allocation decisions, sets objectives, and drives decisions about priorities within a large team. Synthesize multiple analyses toward solving broader business issues/initiatives.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
