What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Lead - Eataly Silicon Valley position at Eataly?
The world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace is coming to the Bay Area! Eataly Silicon Valley will open in 2022 in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall. Eataly was founded in Italy in 2007 and has since expanded to more than 40 locations (and counting!) across the globe. Each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme – but all with the same aim... for our guests to:

The Produce Lead serves as the liaison between the produce sales associate team members and the Fresh Market management. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Ensures that the Sales Associate crew is in place and produce section is working according to Eataly’s standards
- Ensures produce counters and displays are visually appealing and merchandized effectively
- Responsible for ordering, receiving, display and sale of all products in accordance to company quality and merchandising standards
- Ensures excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, OHSA, and other regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
- Collaborates with the communications department to ensure displays have proper signage
- Records and emails daily shift notes
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of experience in a grocery or retail stock position
- Great written and verbal communication skills
