What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Eatery Essentials?

The Project Managers will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. They will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor and record machine down time , analysis the reason and report to the supervisors or discuss with the vendor to make the proper improvement.
  • Coordinating and managing new machine set up and installation.
  • Provide SOP or operation instruction for machine operation and maintenance.
  • Understand facility maintenance needs and manage with the vendors for routine maintenance and set up within budget.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or foreign equivalent). coursework in automatic control and mechatronics.
  • 5 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% annually
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Required).
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious.
  • Demonstrates a professional, team first attitude toward work and co-workers.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of tools and equipment.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Chinese
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and able to read machine drawing and have a basic mechanical sense. (Preferred).
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
  • Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.
  • Must be willing to abide by Eatery Essentials policies and procedures, including those that are safety related.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Able to tolerate working environment with inside hot and cold temperatures.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
